Our Mission:

The Morning Glory School provides students with the experience, knowledge, and skills to thrive in our ever-changing world. Our faculty is dedicated to developing each child's unique abilities and to fostering confident, responsible, free-thinking individuals who are committed to social justice, service and life-long learning. 

Our School:

Founded in 1994, the Morning Glory School was established by a group of progressive parents seeking a more holistic approach to education. It has grown from a small kindergarten program into a non-denominational, fully-accredited Group One BC Independent School with classes from grade one through eight.

Morning Glory School is a Waldorf-inspired school. Our experienced faculty build strong relationships with the students and their families by teaching the same group of children from year to year. Our small class sizes guarantee that each child receives the individual attention essential to his or her intellectual and emotional development. Our rigorous academic curriculum of literature, mathematics, science and foreign languages is balanced by the interweaving of art, music, drama, crafts and physical education into our daily routine. 

Twelve years and four graduating classes later, Morning Glory School continues to serve the needs of those in the Oceanside community who are seeking a more dynamic and personalized education for their children.
